8 Signs You Are Sleep Deprived
1) You crave high carb and fatty foods.
When you’re sleep deprived, the hormone grehlin, which is in charge of hunger, can become over produced, leading to serious cravings for junk food.
2) You already forgot number 1 on this list.
Forgetfulness is a common symptom of sleep deprivation. Get some rest and keep your memory sharp.
3) Caffeine doesn’t get the job done.
If you’re drinking four cups of coffee a day not only are you most likely caffeine dependent but it’s a sure sign you’re short on shut eye.
4) You wake up tired.
This could actually mean too much or too little sleep, but either way it’s a red flag that your sleep cycle is out of balance.
5) You’re emotional for no reason.
Lacking restful sleep means you don’t have time to recharge emotionally. Tired people can often be irritable and overly upset. If you’re more sensitive than usual, sleep loss may be the culprit.
6) You’re uninterested in sex.
If that sentence didn’t grab your attention, lack of sleep might be suppressing your libido. Yikes.
7) You’re constantly dosing off.
When you’re tired, it’s nearly impossible focus because your body is looking for it’s next opportunity to sleep, not finish the task at hand.

If your cold symptoms are lingering it could be an indicator that you’re not getting enough sleep to fight it off. Seriously, go to bed already!
